Just as life has to go on, so is the partying. Clubbing regulars missing the euphoria of the nightlife due to the pandemic can dance their socks off again in their homes, as Singapore Tourism Board (STB) partners with Singapore and Asia’s iconic nightclub Zouk for the virtual nightlife of the times Zouk Phuturescapes.
Showcasing the world-class nightlife that Singapore offers, STB and Zouk will be holding a series of free virtual parties for audiences around the world under Zouk Phuturescapes, which kicks off May 29 in the United States, and May 30 in Asia, including Philippines. The party series reinvents the nightlife into today’s context by bringing it into people’s homes, complete with a curated line-up of local and international DJs and musicians, as well as innovative technology elements such as augmented reality filters and 3D virtual backgrounds.
“We aspire to take the concept of virtual parties to the next level through a mix of content curation, immersive technology, audience engagement, and innovative marketing”, said STB Assistant Chief Executive (Marketing Group) Lynette Pang. Adding that with the help of Zouk, they will be able to “showcase the best of Singapore’s entertainment and nightlife, and shine the spotlight on home-grown talents.”
Comprising three exciting virtual parties, Phuturescapes lights up the nightlife in the US on May 29th, followed by its Asia leg on May 30, 8:00 pm (GMT+8) kicks off, and United Kingdom and Australia on the 31st. Among the international headliners include American DJ Diplo and British DJ Christina Novelli. On the Singapore front, popular artists such as Zouk’s resident DJs LeNERD and Che’Molly, as well as DJ KoFlow, rapper Yung Raja and singer-songwriter Jasmine Sokko will perform, showcasing Singapore’s diverse music scene to local and overseas audiences.
Local Singapore talents such as rapper ShiGGa Shay and model-presenter Hanli Hoefer will emcee the parties and are sure to bring the house down. Dancers will also take to the “dance floor”, further bringing the heightened clubbing experience to the virtual party. Each party will be able to accommodate 1,000 guest registrations, hosted on video conferencing platform Zoom. The parties will also be streamed live on both STB and Zouk Singapore’s official Facebook and YouTube pages.
“The support of the Singapore Tourism Board has provided us with the opportunity to further elevate our virtual parties to showcase Singapore’s entertainment and nightlife scene to a global audience. Through Phuturescapes, we hope to unite our global community on a safe and readily accessible platform for all to tune in, dance along together, engage with one another, and collectively look forward to the day guests from around the world can be welcomed into the club again, “ said Zouk Group CEO Andrew Li.
STB is intent on keeping the Singapore experience alive, and its partnership with Zouk Singapore is another testament to its Passion Made Possible brand. That despite the changes in the entertainment and nightlife scene, both are keen to push the boundaries and pioneer new concepts to showcase Singapore’s vibrant offerings in these areas.
Don’t miss out on the party and catch the Asia leg by registering here at 8:00 pm (PHT) on May 30. Or tune in the live streams at Singapore Tourism Board and Zouk Singapore at the same date and time.
