“This initiative is a key milestone in PUMA’s broader vision to elevate running in Southeast Asia,” said PUMA Southeast Asia Marketing Director Eleanor Wang. “PUMA is redefining athlete sponsorship in Southeast Asia by adopting an “athlete-first” approach that prioritizes elite talent while integrating meaningful community engagement. Unlike traditional sponsorships, PUMA’s model ensures our athletes receive the same level of support and access as global PUMA elites.”

PUMA tapped 4 elite athletes and “runfluencers,” who unleash their raw, unbridled energy for running, to feature in the campaign. Each of their stories showcase personal breakthroughs by embracing the energy within that comes from the runner’s high.

“This move supports PUMA’s athlete-first philosophy, ensuring the athletes receive global-level resources while also inspiring local communities. These partnerships also demonstrate our focus on empowering top-tier talent and cementing PUMA’s commitment in running innovation and performance across Southeast Asia,” Wang explained.

This partnership gives the chosen athletes access to PUMA Running’s performance footwear and apparel, including NITRO technology gear tailored to distance running. PUMA will also power athletes’ performance in local and international competitions, as well as provide opportunities for athletes to engage with the local running community.
