The campus-inspired event featured three PodClass talks on societal expectations, confidence, and personal growth, plus interactive games and a fan meet-and-greet.

Femme, a Filipino hygiene brand, brought together young Filipinas at the Market! Market! Activity Center in Taguig City on November 7 for Praktikal U, a campus-inspired gathering featuring discussions, interactive activities, and a special appearance by brand ambassador Shuvee Etrata.
Centered on Femme’s idea that being practical means knowing what works best for you without compromising on comfort and confidence, Praktikal U expanded conversations about personal care to topics such as societal expectations, relationships, and the everyday decisions young women face. The campus theme provided a familiar setting for attendees to exchange experiences and perspectives on navigating young adulthood.

The event featured three PodClass sessions led by guest hosts called “Podfessors.” “The Price of Keeping Up” was led by Kevin Montillano and Sela Guia, “Life in Motion” by Aira Lopez and Dani Buenvenida, and “Things We Were Never Taught” by Eryka Lucas and Jy Marie. The discussions offered different perspectives on navigating societal expectations, building self-confidence, and making personal choices that reflect their needs and aspirations.
“We want young Filipinas to know that being praktikal doesn’t mean compromising on themselves. It’s about making choices that support their comfort and confidence,” said Jazel Marielli A. Ramos Yeo, Marketing Communications Manager of Sanitary Care Products Asia, Inc. (SCPA). “With Femme, we aim to make everyday care more approachable through feminine care essentials women can trust. Praktikal U is one way we bring that message beyond our products and create opportunities for young women to explore topics and experiences that matter to them.”
Complementing the PodClass sessions were interactive activities that brought the campus-inspired experience to life. Attendees took on the Femme Power Climb, a vertical climbing wall, and tried the Femme Snatch & Slay Human Claw Machine, a playful take on the arcade classic where participants could grab prizes. They also personalized pouches at the Femme Patch & Pouch station and posed for graduation-inspired photos at the Class of Femme booth.
“The gym was part of the campus experience we wanted to recreate. Through the activities, we wanted to show that young women can stay active and enjoy the things they love, even during their period,” shared Ramos Yeo. She also touched on feminine care options, including Femme’s menstrual pants, as part of the broader conversation on managing everyday activities during menstruation.

Shuvee Etrata, a TikTok creator and reality TV contestant who became a Femme ambassador in 2025, engaged attendees in a “Fresh or Pass” segment, sharing her personal takes on girlhood and beauty habits, followed by a Femme-themed matching game. She also met fans during a special meet-and-greet and helped announce the raffle winners.

“Growing up, you realize that there’s always something new to learn about yourself and the things around you. I think being praktikal at madiskarte means knowing what works for you, being confident in your choices, and not being afraid to figure things out along the way,” Etrata said. “We all have different experiences, but there’s something special about learning from each other.”
Beyond the one-day celebration, Femme Praktikal U reflected the brand’s “Your Bes Femme” positioning, reinforcing its commitment to being a reliable and relatable companion to Filipinas through affordable, dependable feminine care essentials and initiatives that create spaces for conversation and shared experiences.
Through these efforts, Femme aims to make everyday care more approachable, accessible, and practical while supporting young women in making confident choices and navigating life’s everyday challenges.
