The homegrown developer has played its role in PH real estate comeback last year and is foreseeing operational growth in Mindanao this 2025

As the Philippine real estate market continues to gain momentum in 2025, Damosa Land has emerged as a driving force for its resurgence. Through innovative projects, strategic partnerships, and a strong focus on sustainability, the company is strengthening its position as a leading Mindanao real estate developer.

Head Sport is set to inaugurate its tennis ball manufacturing plant at Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) in Panabo City, Davao del Norte in the second quarter of 2025, while GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation will also inaugurate the second phase of its 12,000-pallet cold storage facility in the first quarter of this year in the ecozone.

Building bridges across sectors

Damosa Land has consistently built meaningful partnerships and fostered vibrant communities through its forward-thinking developments. Its flagship project, Anflo Industrial Estate (AIE) in Panabo City, Davao del Norte, has become a hub for collaboration and innovation, attracting global brands and driving local economic growth.

In 2024, AIE welcomed Head Sport, the world’s largest tennis ball provider, which established its local production facility within the estate. This year, Head Sport is preparing for its highly anticipated inauguration in the second quarter, with operations set to commence shortly thereafter. Additionally, AIE brought in GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corporation, a joint venture project between AC Logistics Holdings Corporation (AC Logistics) and Glacier Megafridge, Incorporated (GMI) to develop a 12,000-pallet cold storage facility, aimed to improve food preservation, further boost local employment, and support agriculture.

AIE continues to grow as it attracts new locators, including Tide Solar, a leading solar panel manufacturer investing $3 million (P169.2 million) to establish a solar panel manufacturing facility. This venture not only creates more job opportunities but also strengthens the region’s position as a hub for sustainable industrial development.

“We believe true progress is built on strategic partnerships that create meaningful impact. By aligning with industries where we find synergy, we can empower communities, generate jobs, and inspire excellence, ensuring every collaboration drives mutual growth and lasting progress,” said President Cary Lagdameo.

Damosa Land President Ricardo “Cary” Lagdameo leads the inspection of the ongoing land development at Kahi Estates in Davao City, which includes the Primary Underground Power Distribution Systems and the road network preparation. The agri-residence will be the first in Davao to implement underground cabling, eliminating the presence of overhead wires on the streets.

Staying true to its DNA

For over two decades, Damosa Land has championed innovation and sustainability, with projects that transform communities and enhance quality of life. Landmark initiatives such as the UP Professional School for Agriculture and the Environment (UP PSAE) and Agriya Gardens have been integral to the ongoing development of the Agriya township in Panabo City, blending modernity with sustainable living.

In 2024, the company launched Kahi Estates, Davao City’s first agri-residence and first residential subdivision with 100% underground utilities, setting a new standard for eco-friendly living. The newly launched HQ Center in Cagayan de Oro also marks a milestone in Damosa Land’s regional expansion, supporting business growth in northern Mindanao.

These developments integrate green practices, promote sustainable living, and provide valuable contributions to the region’s economic progress.

Sustaining revenue and operational growth

Damosa Land’s 2024 achievements underscore its steady growth and resilience as the company looks forward to 2025. With a portfolio spanning 706,177 square meters of leasable space, 265 tenants, and over 11,000 jobs created, Damosa Land has solidified its role as a key driver of economic and community development in Mindanao.

In 2025, Damosa Land will expand its footprint in key cities and further explore opportunities in important industries. Major projects include the TRYP condotel on Samal Island, which will be developed in partnership with PHINMA, to enhance local tourism and support the hospitality sector’s resurgence.

Continuing its work on Samal Island is Bridgeport, the company’s premier marina lifestyle development designed to meet the growing demand for leisure-oriented residential and commercial properties. Bridgeport Park, the condominium component of the property, will soon inaugurate its first building and complete the construction of the second building. These projects reaffirm Damosa Land’s commitment to shaping the real estate landscape of Mindanao while fostering long-term economic and community growth.

In line with its mission to deliver exceptional experiences, Damosa Land is collaborating with Sunrise Events to host the highly anticipated 5150 triathlon race at Bridgeport on Samal Island. This landmark event reflects the company’s commitment to multisector partnerships that benefit not only its stakeholders but also athletes and the local community.

“Our journey last year has been a testament to innovation and community-centered growth, which are the foundation of a bright future in Mindanao’s real estate landscape. With our plans and projects set for 2025, we remain steadfast in our mission to drive sustainable development and economic progress across the region,” Lagdameo said.
