Dads are often called providers, but they’re so much more than that. They work tirelessly to provide for us while also doing their part at home. They do their share of housework, help with homework, fix things that need fixing, and provide sage advice when we need it.
This Father’s Day, it’s time to give our favorite guys the much-needed break they deserve—and there’s no better way than celebrating their special day with the things they enjoy the most at Ortigas Malls.
On June 15, let your dad feel like king for the day at GH Mall and Estancia Mall. Designed for the entire family, each activity will bring out his inner child being around the hobbies he enjoys, while also taking the time to relax.
Sports and cars galore at GH Mall
For many dads, Greenhills (GH) is the place to be for geeky collections. If your dad is the sporty type, GH Mall is bringing a whole day of interactive experience at the South Wing Atrium.
From 10AM to 7PM, there will be a Golf Simulation activity that’ll make them feel like they’re teeing up on luscious green grass as they swing for the perfect shot. Bounce & Bond: Father & Child Basketball Jam,meanwhile, is for duos who want to show off their basketball skills and bond through jump shots.
After playing, they can sit back while listening to relaxing DJ music playing the Do It For Dad: A Chill Session from 3PM to 6PM. There will also be snacks and refreshments for all the dads, making it the perfect rest spot, especially for those who’ve been busy at work the past few weeks.
Also happening the whole day is the Driven For Dad Car Display & Simulation Experience at the ground and second floor of Promenade. Take cool photos with the Radical Car model on the ground floor, and also get the chance to test out the car simulators on the second floor in this unique showcase.
Bond and sweat it out with dad at the weekly Taekwondo Milo Summer Clinic every Tuesday and Thursday from 2PM to 3:30PM at the second floor of Promenade. For dads who love getting creative with toys, there’s Lego F1: Build The Excitement until June 15, and Ogalala: Step Into the World of Creativity from June 16 to 22 at GH Mall’s East Wing Atrium.
The young ones can also learn new skills, like hot chocolate making at Lil Barista in Training on June 18 from 2PM to 5PM at the second floor of Promenade. For the musically inclined, there’s Little Hands, Big Music from 4PM to 5PM until June 26 at the fourth floor of Tech Hub, which will culminate in a Grand Recital on June 30.
Active fun at Estancia Mall
Estancia Mall is also gearing up for a whole-day celebration, including indoor sports activities. Drop by the ground floor of the East Wing from 10AM to 7PM for energizing rounds of Hoops For Pops for basketball lovers and Tee Time for golfing enthusiasts.
Cap off the day with Do It For Dad: A Chill Session from 5PM to 7PM. This is dad’s chance to slow down after a fun and exciting day at Estancia Mall.
There are more opportunities to hang out with dad and the rest of the family this month. On June 20, enjoy vibrant tunes during the Summer Music Fest at the East Wing from 6PM to 9PM. Shop anything from fashion, accessories, snacks, and more during the Yard Sale on June 22 from 6AM to 10AM, and The Modern Market Bazaar from June 27 to 29.
