This purpose driven approach was recognized at the Asia Pacific StevieĀ® Awards, where PLDT Global ā PLDTās international unit– earned multiple honors for initiatives that combine innovation, engagement, and leadership.

The platform enables Filipinos abroad to access digital goods and services for their families in the Philippines, responding to practical, everyday needs while helping them remain closely connected to home. Beyond commerce, TinBo enables digital identity through the Smart Virtual Number (SVN)āa cloud-based Philippine mobile number that serves as a digital passport for access to communications, authentication, and financial services.
TinBo serves over half a million Filipinos in the Middle East, North America, Europe, and Asia, growing 430% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) in commerce and payment transactions over the past three years, and showing demand for a more intentional cross-border model.
PLDT Globalās ACC 2025 was recognized for Bronze for fostering dialogue and collaboration among global telecommunications, technology, and enterprise leaders, positioning the event as a platform for partnerships that extend beyond traditional connectivity. The company also bagged Bronze StevieĀ® Awards for initiatives focused on strengthening engagement with overseas Filipino communities and industry partners. Its Hong Kong Fest 2025 — a weeklong Philippine Independence Day event — was cited for its role in bringing Filipinos abroad together through culture driven community engagement, while creating opportunities for connection beyond digital platforms.
Another Bronze StevieĀ® Award was given to Albert V. Villa Real, President and CEO of PLDT Global, for Thought Leadership. The citation highlights his work in advancing partnerships and platforms that support digital inclusion initiatives for overseas Filipinos and partner communities across markets, reflecting a leadership approach focused on long term collaboration and ecosystem building.
