Sophos, a global leader of innovative security solutions for defeating cyberattacks, recently announced the appointment of Malis Selamat as managing director for ASEAN, Greater China, and Korea. In this role, Selamat will spearhead strategic growth initiatives and expand Sophos’ market presence across these key regions.
Bringing more than 25 years of experience in enterprise technology, sales leadership, and channel management, Selamat is well-positioned to enhance Sophos’ partner-driven approach and help organizations navigate today’s evolving cybersecurity threats. She will lead the company’s corporate sales efforts, focusing on scaling enterprise adoption and deepening collaboration with partners to deliver best-in-class security solutions.
Before joining Sophos, Selamat was the head of corporate sales for Southeast Asia and country manager for the Philippines and Vietnam at Google, where she led go-to-market strategies and accelerated business growth in emerging markets. Prior to that, she led sales organizations at VMware, McAfee, Citrix, and Qlik, driving enterprise and mid-market sales while expanding partner ecosystems.
