Proving that it’s leagues above the rest, Xiaomi celebrated the arrival of its new Redmi Note 14 Series — which is taking the mobile world by storm — in the recent All-Star Playground event at the SM Mall of Asia Atrium last January 25 and 26.
For the whole weekend, Xiaomi fans and mallgoers got to test out the immensely popular and fast-selling Redmi Note 14 Series’ impressive and exceptional protective features in the immersive Playground.
The Redmi Note 14 Series’ All-Star Durability was put through its paces at the All-Star Playground, with tests of its water, dust, scratch, and impact resistance.
The star of the show was the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ 5G’s All-Star Durability. The feature was shown off in a variety of special tests: there was a water slide where eventgoers got to push the smartphone down a slide into water to see its IP68 water resistance in action; everyday items were dropped on the phone’s screen to test its scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2; sand and dust were blown on the phone to try out its IP68 dust resistance; and the sturdy All-Star Armor Structure was tested by dropping the phone on metal and wood surfaces.
The attendees at the All-Star Playground also enjoyed the musical performance of rock band Dilaw.
The Redmi Note 14’s companion wearable Redmi Watch 5 was also showcased, which showed how people could crush their workouts and fitness goals with it. Lastly, content creation – always a key point for users – was highlighted in the playground by showing off the Redmi Note 14 Pro’s AI-powered photography features.
Popular OPM band Sunkissed Lola was at the All-Star Playground to perform their hits.
The weekend kicked off with a high-energy performance by the Atlas Perp Squad, getting everyone hyped for the Playground. Redmi All-Star Khalil Ramos graced the weekend event with a special segment on the first day unboxing the Redmi Note 14 Pro with Then. Meanwhile, Alvin Tries Tech dropped by the event on the second day to host a workshop on content creation. All-Star esports squad Team Liquid was also present for a Mobile Legends showmatch with lucky gamers. There were also performances by singer-songwriter dwta and popular OPM bands Sunkissed Lola and Dilaw.
Content creator Alvin Tries Tech, along with All-Star Playground host Debbie Then, held a workshop on content creation tips using the Redmi Note 14 Series’ AI-powered mobile photography features.
Mallgoers also got in on even more fun at the event with special games during the afternoon, which included an All-Star Trivia Game, All-Star Compatibility Game, and a special All-Star Dance Challenge. A Redmi Note 14 and two pairs of Redmi Buds 6 Pro were also raffled off to lucky attendees throughout the weekend.
