Pop culture from around the world comes together in the Spring/Summer 2025 UT lineup.
Global apparel retailer UNIQLO announces the start of a new campaign for its UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) brand of graphic T-shirts for 2025 entitled “Live it up! This is UT!” Designed around the theme of allowing customers of all generations to enjoy graphic T-shirts, the campaign expresses the limitless potential of graphic T-shirts unbound by convention. The message of “Live it up!” aims to encourage everyone to live life to the fullest each day.
The UT Spring/Summer 2025 collection will feature an overwhelming variety of graphics carefully selected from the latest trends in pop culture. Packed with collaborations across limitless categories, the lineup features artists who continue to inspire people across generations, such as Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol; characters from franchises beloved around the world, such as Disney, Peanuts, and Sanrio; classic Japanese anime and games. The lineup also features special collections born from UNIQLO’s partnerships with the world’s leading museums. New content will be released each week.
UT Creative Director Kosuke Kawamura commented: “Even if you’re not familiar with the design on a graphic T-shirt, you might think that the graphic is cute or cool, and you can easily enjoy what you want to wear depending on your mood that day. For 2025, we have confidently selected cultural touchstones from around the world befitting the outstanding graphics T-shirts we aim to create. I hope everyone will choose a graphic T-shirt that speaks to them.”
New relaxed fit style from Spring/Summer 2025
The rich variety of content is the main attraction of UT, but the T-shirt garment itself is packed with carefully considered details. In addition to the regular and oversized fit styles, a new relaxed fit has been added as a trend-conscious silhouette. As a T-shirt brand, UNIQLO considers the silhouette of UT to be an important factor, and to ensure that each shirt is one that will be loved over time, refuses to compromise.
Key points of the relaxed fit
・Neat length slightly shorter than oversize
・Moderately wide box silhouette between regular fit and oversized
・The shoulder line is lowered, and the sleeve length is slightly more compact
・Soft fabric for a well-balanced feel
UT magazine 2025 SPRING SUMMER Vol.12 encapsulates UT at the start of the 2025 season
The main feature highlights UT’s first collaboration with master French artist Henri Matisse. UT magazine visited Nice, where Matisse spent his last years, to showcase the beautiful cityscape of soft light and blue sea that had such a tremendous influence on his creative output. In other sections, through interviews with BUAISOU—a collective of indigo artisans that has garnered attention around the world for their innovative creations while respecting tradition—the magazine explores the hidden story of how they developed designs to express the world of Disney. The magazine also features interviews with a variety of exclusive UT collaborators, including the creators and production teams behind the horror/dark fantasy manga Uzumaki, Parasyte, and Berserk, which have many fans around the world. These interviews convey the possibilities and fascination of designs expressed through T-shirts, as well as the fun of wearing them. UT magazine 2025 SPRING SUMMER Vol.12 is available free of charge in select stores: UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store, UNIQLO SM Megamall, and UNIQLO SM Mall of Asia starting March 31, 2025.
